VIDEO: Baby Born With Stigmata Of Jesus Christ Attracts Thousands Of Believers

What could have been just a regular sunday operation at the Quezon City General Hospital turned out to be a very significant day for many. A news about an unusual delivery room occurrence spread fast as soon as the successful delivery took place. Miracle stories is common to a place like this but something very special has made this one extraordinary. 



A baby boy, weighing 3.2 kilograms named Jejomar Castillo was born in the Quezon City General Hospital on March 15, 2015 bearing body marks corresponding to the crucifixion wounds of Jesus Christ, called Stigmata. He has them on his forehead and both hands and feet. People who have personally seen the marks on the baby's body parts couldn't almost contain their emotions as they're like seeing the real wounds of Jesus Christ. News about this very special event spread throughout the hospital fast and eventually went viral on social media, gaining a very overwhelming attention. 


Stigmata or Purpura, as how Dr. Merlin Cruz, a microbiological expert diagnosed baby Jejomar's condition is a strange and rare skin abnormality making it appear reddish or purple at times. Stigmata cases have been recorded for years, however, the case of baby Jejomar is not like the usual for it is the first case found on a newborn which makes it even more special and draws thee attention of thousands. The most popular recorded stigmata case is that of Padre Pio, an italian priest who became one of Roman Catholic saints.


More than 15,000 believers of all ages gathered outside the hospital, each wanting to take a peek at the baby whom they believe as a blessed and God-send baby. Prayer vigil for baby Jejomar then eventually started around the hospital grounds with people bringing their candles and welcome messages for the baby.

Humanity, as how it is being portrayed by some nowadays, is not always what's ideal for most people. We somehow need something, a situation or maybe a sign to remind us o renew our faiths and become better individuals. None-believers may question the way Catholics react to situations as such though, but so long as no one's right has been stepped-upon, then there should be no reason for one to cut-off one from his beliefs.
