Doctors Said Their Baby Won't Live Long.. but Everyone was Surprised a Year After!

17 weeks in to pregnancy, Brandon and Brittany Buell have been advised by their doctor to drop the pregnancy after finding out a serious brain deformity during their baby's ultrasound test. The couple consulted different doctors, and were told that the condition is too sensitive that their baby might not survive.

Jaxon Emmett Buell, nicknamed Jaxon Strong and/or Miracle Baby, was diagnosed with a severe case of microhydranencephaly,  a developmental abnormality that affects the brain, and was born in August 27, 2014 through C-section. Jackson weighed 4 lbs and doctors feared he might not live for more than a year.

However, as Jaxon lived up to his nickname, a miracle might just have happened as he celebrated his first birthday last August of 2015. It was a huge milestone not only for Jaxon, but for Brandon and Britanny as well.

“I’m very aware that today may be his last day. I’m aware tomorrow he may not be here,” says Brittany.
