Loyalty is a dog's best quality. We have known a couple of great stories demonstrating dog's dedication to their owners. It always gives us the heart-warming feeling every time we hear different tales of incredible owner and pet relationships. And here comes another canine named, Spike, being captured in a film literally chasing down an ambulance taking its sick owner to the hospital.
This loyal dog has proved its unfailing love for its owner.
According to news report, Spike's homeless owner has suffered an epileptic attack and lose consciousness. As emergency crews of Taguatinga, Brazil , take his owner in the ambulance and drives off, one of them notices the dog sprinting along behind the ambulance rear-view mirror, not wanting to be left behind.
In some points, the dog seems to be panting for air but the canine doesn't want to loose sight of the ambulance. Spike tries to keep up with the moving vehicle no matter what it takes.
Never can they imagine that such gesture coming from an animal can move mountains. An emergency worker, Celiosmar Ferreira has said: "In 19 years of this profession I have never witnessed such a scene," "We were touched and concerned about the safety of the animal, who could be run over. When we stopped the car at an intersection, he came to stand in front of the ambulance, It was then that we decided to pick him up." After the crew has opened up the doors and let the poor dog to come close to its owner, the homeless man starts to speak, in which later on they have found out the dog's name is Spike.
Once at the hospital, the dog never left its owner. The loyal dog is settling down quietly and patiently beside its owner who is being placed on a stretcher. Fortunately, the owner's condition hasn't grown to a serious case to deal with as he is soon release by the hospital.
The close bond being established by Spike and its owner is incredible. The homeless man appears to be richer than anybody else. He owns something more precious than gold, he has Spike.
