Halloween is the time reminding us to visit our loved ones
on their grave. It’s also a time for family gathering. This just proves that
though they were not with us anymore, they still remain in our hearts.
A controversial statue of a demon stepping on an angel was
on top of a man’s grave. This was the grave of Simion Bernardo. Simon died of
heart attack. Also, he said that he was able to experience torture by the
Spanish and didn’t believe in the Catholic Church before so he told his family
to put this statue on top of his grave. The statue signifies a defeat of good
against evil.
