Jeepney Driver Drops Lifeless Body of Passenger After Suffering a Stroke!!!

lifeless body of old man

When riding public transportation, drivers hold the sole responsibility in maintaining our safety. But does their responsibility automatically end when it happens that a passenger dies in the vehicle by natural causes?

Mark Uy Calasin, a concerned witness of a jeepney driver pulling to the side to drop a lifeless body of his passenger shares the shocking story on his facebook account:

“At 5:30pm today, I passed by the heritage hotel, while walking a sudden uproar happened. There was an old man who was dropped off by a jeep after suffering a stroke. He was already dead when he was dropped off. The San Juan de Dios hospital was only 500m away. Nobody knows who this old man is. He has no identification cards with him since police said his identity was “negative”. Please share this so that it’ll reach his family or the media so that his family can identify him through national television. I felt sorry for him. The driver and passengers of the jeep didn’t even think of bringing him to the nearest hospital. The jeep suddenly runs off. Nobody was able to remember the plate number."

The man immediately died after suffering a stroke inside the transit and instead of calling out for help/ relatives of the deceased; and bringing the old man to a hospital, the hasty jeepney driver just dropped him to the curb.

It's both saddening and disappointing that people nowadays are cold and less compassionate of the people surrounding him, even in times that a person's life is what's at stake.
