Take the infamous policy "Customer is always right". Business owners and employees are well aware that this custom isn't very much applicable most of the time. Even if the ultimate goal is to serve customers and clients, in the end, they're only human and also wants (and deserves) consideration.
This conflict just shows how ugly things can get and that owners and even employees of lower ranks alike should receive the same amount of respect from customers.
