After Angel Locsin, Who is the Next Actress to Play Darna?

After the news of Angel Locsin dropping the legendary role of Darna due to health reasons that might cause a huge damage in her spine, people are now on a guessing game as to who will be the new face of the famous heroine.

Fans have been rooting for their respective favorites and a line up of famous actresses such as Maja Salvador, Liza Soberano, Nadine Lustre, Ellen Adarna and Kathryn Bernardo have been rumored to play the female hero.

However, ABS-CBN management and Star Cinema appeared to be done looking for the right actress to gear up the famous red costume as Angel Locsin herself updated her  media account with the caption:

"And I hope and pray that you will give the same amount of love and support to the new Darna."

The awaited movie version of "Darna" will be on cinemas 2016 under Star Cinema.
