Very Inspiring! A Young Man Rushes to Sell Kakanin In His Bicycle After School Hours for His Education!

Poverty has always been a stubborn factor as to why majority of youth couldn't afford the education that could lead them to a better life. As the common saying goes, "Education is the key to success." While this may not guarantee a wealthy and bountiful life ahead, education can help as create an aim as to where we would want to be.

A great example is this young man who strolls the streets of Marikina in his bicycle to sell his parents' "kakanin" after school. His photos peddling around with kakanins on the side has recently gone viral after being posted on a facebook page.

The said post had the caption, “Karamihan sa mga kabataan ngayon ang daming reklamo at tinatamad bumangon sa umaga para mag-aral, pero hindi nyo ba alam na may ganyang Estudyante na pag tapos ng eskwela sakay agad sa bisikleta para maglako ng panindang gawa ng pamilya nya?”

(Majority of the youth today complain a lot and are lazy to get up every morning for school; but did you know that there is this student who would rush after school hours in his bicycle to sell homemade foods?)

This post teaches us one thing.: if your parents are able to provide your basic needs and send you to school without you needing to work as well, consider yourself lucky. Take your studies seriously, because there's always someone with a worse situation that would gladly trade positions with you in a heartbeat. Value education.
