Political Adviser Gives a Yes to Duterte Possibly Running for President

We all know that Davao City Mayor Duterte has been on and off about his decisions to run for presidency and just recently, made his supporters hopeful by meeting up (in separate occasions) with potential running mates Bongbong Marcos and Alan Cayateno.

Now six days before the deadline of the filling of Certificate of Candidacy, Mayor Duterte’s political adviser –Lito Banayo, made a statement regarding the mayor’s political plans for the May 2016 elections —claiming that the mayor would run for president; and though without any formal date, would release a statement regarding the elections soon.

"If I appear in Comelec, that means I'm running for President," Duterte said, in one of his interviews.

The filling for candidacy would run until October 16. Until then, we would be having our fingers crossed.
