VIRAL VIDEO: A Live-bearing Snake.

Have you ever seen a snake giving birth to live snakes and not inside eggs? This video is an actual footage of a snake giving birth to its live baby snakes called neonates.

Snakes are not all egg-laying snakes, in the same way we know that not all of them are venomous. There are snakes that are live-bearning. Being called live-bearing does not mean that this type of snakes do not produce their babies in eggs. They actually do, however, they are known to keep the eggs inside them until they hatched. A few examples of live-bearing snakes are rattlesnakes, copperheads, and water moccasins.

It is but unusual for most of us to witness this kind of snake birth because we have been accustomed to seeing eggs layed by female snakes and not live ones but it's always fun to learn new things - learnings that we can share to everybody especially the young ones.
