A Video Of A Baby Infected By An Extraordinary Skin Disease!

A lot of factors can affect why a certain being catches up a disease. It could be genetic or environmental. Genetic means that it could be inherited from your parents. A video below is showing a baby being infected by a rare genetic condition called Harlequin-type Ichthyosis.

It is caused by the thickening of stratum corneum of the epidermis. The entire body of the baby is composed of thick white plates of skin like ‘armour’ and its being separated with deep cracks.

Most of the time, children with these condition would not survive because vital fats are missing in the skin which protect against bacteria and contaminants.
