It was a bittersweet reunion between Dolores Capistrano and her children after she was mistakenly claimed to be dead for two decades!
Capistrano was a widow and already 51 years old when she fled her home to run away with her then lover in 1994 to Cebu; leaving her family who were against the relationship. A year after she eloped, Capistrano's family back home received the news that their runaway mother has passed away.
However, as if a miracle, Emilyn Salaroza, Capistrano's daughter, found an email saying that her mother who is dead for 20 years, is actually alive!
