Joey de Leon and Tito Sotto Under Fire for Their Arab Halloween Costumes!!!

Halloween is a time for dressing up on whomever and whatever we want to be. Or so we thought.

Just as Halloween is finishing, Joey de Leon and Tito Sotto have been under fire for dressing up in Arabic clothes. Obviously, not everyone is amused by the duo’s get up. Many have complained that Muslim garbs are not supposed to be used for such occasions that mean to scare people like how ghosts and zombies and vampires do.

The two received so much criticism that even the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) demanded an apology from them.

“On behalf of the Filipino Moro people, we demand that producers and hosts of the noontime show issue a public apology,” ARMM Governor Mujiv Hataman said.

Meanwhile, Tito Sotto said in an interview “We have nothing to apologize for. Many Arab friends are telling us that they liked it as in the past.”

Do you think their chosen costumes are truly offending? or people should just let the issue go?
