An Open Letter as to Why More People Choose Eat Bulaga Over It's Showtime!

The “rivalry” between weekly noontime shows Eat Bulaga and It’s Showtime is always a constant debate amongst avid watchers.

Apparently, after the success of Aldub and its segment Kalyeserye which lifted Eat Bulaga’s ratings, a lot has been wondering and making conclusions about its rival show – It’s Showtime. But the ABS-CBN noontime program appeared to have found their champion with the rise of Pastillas Girl (Angelica Jane in real life) who embarks on a journey to find her other half.

As if having two variety shows air simultaneously doesn't sound like competition yet, the female leads of the respective shows (Maine Mendoza and Angelica Jane) have similarities as both have been internet sensations before making it to the showbiz industry.

But recently, It's Showtime and its network have been receiving backlash from its watchers, and have also resulted to a former solid fan publishing an open letter for them.

Even if  the sender of the letter only went by the name Patricia due to fear of receiving hate from It's Showtime fans, it didn't stop her from letting the public know about her thoughts.
