WATCH: World’s youngest mother gave birth at the age of 5!!!

With all the teenage pregnancy we are hearing on the news today, we thought that there’s nothing else more shocking until we watched the video. Premarital sex have been a rampant cause of unwanted and early pregnancies among teenagers all over the world today. Society have been changing a lot since technology is also evolving much faster than humans can comprehend.

Is it because of technology that we have been forgetting what our traditions are, and the things that we should be doing first? The mindset of young people today have been changed because of the fast paced life technology is offering. But unknown to many of us, in 1933, a 5 year-old girl actually gave birth to a healthy baby boy and there is actual medical proof of this.

Her condition is what doctors call “Precious puberty” where her mammary glands and other sexual organs mature at a very young age. Doctors even said that she had her first menstruation at the age of 8 months. 5 year-old Lina Medina was brought to the hospital when her parents was alarmed by her growing stomach only to find out that she was already 8 months pregnant.

Her baby was named after the doctor who delivered her child, Dr. Herardo Lozada. It’s not until the boy was age 10 that he learned about the truth that the girl she looks up to as a sister was actually his mother. Though the biological father of Gerardo wasn’t found. Their story and case are still being studied today.
