WATCH: Mermaid girl swims with giant Manta Rays at the Great Barrier Reef!!!

As a child, many of us dreamed to see a mermaid and some even dreamed of becoming one. The story of the little mermaid inspired a lot of us as kids. But this days, people can now become real life mermaids with the aid of specialized suits which you can wear like a mermaid’s tail and use it to swim but it takes special training to be able to use it freely like it’s a part of your own body.

One lady from Australia calls herself mermaid Melissa which obviously is a pro in using the suit, she was even able to dive so deep she was able to swim with giant Manta rays on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. This magnificent creatures are so beautiful they look like they’re flying through the ocean instead of swimming in it. This creatures are protected worldwide for they were hunted to near extinction in the past for their meat and leather.

Today, you can now be able to swim with this gentle giants as long as you don’t touch them or disturb them. Some of this creatures can grow to astonishing proportions where its wingspan can even reach more than 20ft. across. They don’t harm humans but can defend themselves if threatened. Hopefully future generations will still be able to see this creatures.
