VIRAL: Blindfolded Filipina student finished a Rubik’s cube in less than 30 seconds!

The Rubik’s hype has been with us since the 80’s though there have been strategies, methodologies and ways that have been developed to solve this cube much faster since the day it came into production. It all started with the 3x3x3 cube and now we have cube’s reaching 17x17x17’s. How crazy is that?

Well, what’s crazier is the method and speed that people use now a days. Speed cubing for one has become a global phenomenon and competition for the fastest cube solving is held all over the world all year round. Records have been set as much as less than 10 seconds for a 3x3x3 cube. People doesn’t really get contented with how fast they can solve the puzzle cube and has started solving it blindfolded to add more thrill and challenge.

Solving a Rubik’s cube blindfolded and with the cube covered while solving it really requires guts, patience and the intellect of a genius because the solution and memorization required takes a lot of time and energy. More and more talented people have been emerging in the speed cubing industry like this Filipina student that sure has potential.

This girl was blindfolded by one of her classmates and then she started solving the cube and has done it more or less 30 seconds. Though the cube wasn’t covered while she was doing it like how it’s officially done, well what the heck, it was done in a classroom probably during their break. It was obviously a fun day for the class.
