Nowadays, we see a lot of kids roaming around the streets even at night. The provoking status of poverty influence them to do things not right for themselves. Instead of pursuing a dream, they see education as a waste of time but there is this one boy, who strives hard to study even if it has to be on the streets.
A photo is taken by Joyce Torrefranca and shares it on Facebook. It's a sad picture that depicts the struggle a child has to take for education. The young boy in order for him to study and finish his assignments makes a smart alternative on settling down with a bench in a fastfood chain's sidewalk. A young boy, who is full of determination, endures the little light being emitted. At a very young age, he struggle for education. He has to adjust the situation inorder to reach his dreams. Maybe, he couldn't study in his house for some circumstances and so he is left with no other options but to look for a place he can study. He doesn't mind the fact that he is sitting on the sidewalk, all he knows he has to do his homework.
Seeing this kid with so much dedication towards education can melt anyone's heart. He could have probably did this a few times before. If only he is born fortunate, he can have all the lights he wants, a table and chair, and a room to stay. There are thousands of kids who suffer with the same situation but only a few is like this young fellow.
Let us pray that someday there will no longer be kids who have to go out and look for places they can study to provide them a light they need. Let us hope for a better future with this children.
