On April 8, the United States of America welcomed its first ever all-girl quintuplet babies. They were born in the Women's Hospital in Texas through a Cesarean Section with the help of more than a dozen medical personnel.
The babies, namely Olivia Marie, Ava Lane, Parker Kate, Riley Paige, and Hazel Grace were all in appropriate weight range upon birth according to the doctors with Olivia Marie as the heaviest who weighed 2.6 lbs. The parents and their three year-old daughter must have been very proud of the latest addition to their now bigger family.
Such birth is very rare not only in the US but the world because the last time an all-girl quintuplets was born was in 1969.
Such a huge blessing it must be for the parents to be given not only one but five more beautiful babies. With such a huge gift, of course, comes an even bigger responsibility so let us all help the parents in praying that they will be able to raise their little ones very well.
